By what authority does Oprah have to be teaching religion?

To 'Eckhart Tolle. you did not tell us which organ will percieve stillness, when we are disconneced from the mind.. is it the heart?.. but the heart is a blood pump.. and nowadays they are transplanting mechanical hearts. we know that the brain understand the thing and its opposite .. so which part of our body can perceive the oneness, the stillness, and God ( things which has no opposite)??

i have been on this journey for ten or 15 years, and most of what he says really resonates with me. it's not like i picked up the book and was enlightened or "saved." if you read his books and then you still think he is evil, that's fine. you're not in tune with it yet. but maybe someday you will realize that he is not saying to "worship the earth" but just to forgive yourself, to be the holy being "god" intended, to do right by your fellow beings (animals and humans alike), to stop TORTURING yourself and using religion or the drama of your own life as an excuse to do so. to stop thinking in terms of US and THEM, ME and MINE, because that is what leads us to kill and destroy. we are all in this together, so why can't we just acknowledge that and wake up?

thanks for posting these videos. it's interesting how religious-minded people try to shoot Tolle down for writing/saying these things, when he himself says that it's not about a single exclusive person having the truth--not even jesus--but about finding the truth in yourself. i was raised a christian from early childhood, but i learned all about the crusades and the atrocities committed by the different religions in the name of god. what a travesty! i knew there was something fundamentally wrong with the way human beings were using religion, which probably stemmed from misinterpreting the various "sacred texts." ...
